Buffalo, NY: Team Dunlop amateur
riders once again took to the beautiful and historic Mammoth Mountain Motocross
with an eye towards joining a revered list of winners. Many of the sport’s
greats have made their mark on the mountain, and this year saw Team Dunlop
Elite riders add their names to the list.
riders won eight of the nine mini titles up for grabs, with Team Dunlop Elite
riders grabbing five of those championships. Jett Reynolds topped the list
with two championships while Haiden Deegan, Max Vohland, and Stilez Robertson
all earned one title each.
the big-bike classes, Dunlop riders took home 18 of a possible 19 titles, with Team
Dunlop Elite alumnus Garrett Marchbanks earning three of those championships.
Dunlop rider Justin Cooper was the standout pro this year and dominated all
three classes—450 Pro, Open Pro and 250 Pro. The Dunlop
Geomax MX3S was the tire of choice at Mammoth this year.
“Mammoth was fantastic this year, with great
weather and a lot of intense racing,” said Dunlop Amateur Motocross Manager Rob
Fox. “Our congratulations to all the champions, and we look forward to a great
summer of racing.”
