It
is with heavy hearts that we learned of the death of Walker Brightwell. Walker
was a member of the Team Dunlop Elite squad in 2007, the very first year of the
program. He won numerous amateur motocross titles in his racing career, became
a star football and lacrosse player, then went on to earn a four-year degree at
Ohio State.
Walker
never lost his love of racing. After college, he opened his own motocross track,
Windy Ridge Motocross in Brown County, Ohio. While prepping the track for a
race weekend, he suffered an unfortunate accident and lost his life.
