Buffalo, NY: The 2018 FIM World Junior
Motocross Championship will be held this year in Horsham, Australia on August
24-26, and will pit the best young riders in the world (ages 11 to 17) against
each other for world titles.
This year is the first year the U.S. has fielded
a team since 2014, and of the six riders chosen to represent the U.S. this
year, four of them are a part of the Team Dunlop Elite family.
Team Dunlop Elite riders Ryder DiFrancesco and
Caden Braswell will compete in the 85cc division. Max Miller and Team Dunlop
Elite alum rider Aiden Tijero will compete in the 125 class, and another Team
Dunlop Elite rider, Kade Johnson, will join forces with Logan Best in the 65cc
division. All of the U.S. riders competing in this year’s championship will
race on Dunlop tires.
“To see our members of the Team Dunlop Elite
program represent our country at the world championships is really amazing,”
said Dunlop Amateur Motocross Manager Rob Fox. “In the twelve years the program
has been in place, we’ve seen Team Dunlop Elite riders compete in the junior
world championships, and we’re very excited to see this new generation of
riders race for world titles.”
Team Dunlop is one of the largest amateur support
programs in the nation and is open to eligible up and coming racers. Visit teamdunlop.com today to check out all the
