Dunlop Riders Rule at 2017 Freestone
With 45 out of 46 possible championships, Dunlop riders ruled the 2017
James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship
Buffalo, NY: Dunlop riders have dominated the annual James Stewart Freestone Spring
Championship, and the 2017 event was no exception. Riding on Dunlop’s dominant
Geomax® MX3S and MX52 tires, Dunlop riders won 45 titles—all but one
that was up for grabs.
The scorecard was
impressive: Team Dunlop Elite riders took home 12 championships—Daxton Bennick
won 3 titles, Jett Reynolds and Stilez Robertson won two each, and Matt
Leblanc, Ryder DiFrancesco, Haiden Deegan, Seth Dennis and Max Vohland each won
one championship.
Team Dunlop Alumni were
also impressive, with seven titles between them, including Hannah Hodges who
won the Freestone round of the Women’s Motocross Championship.
“Freestone was tough this
year—a lot of wind and a heavy rain,” said Dunlop Amateur Motocross Manager Rob
Fox. “We’re very proud of all the Dunlop riders who forged through the
conditions to win titles, and we’re honored so many riders chose to compete on
our Geomax tires.”
Dunlop offers one of the
largest amateur support programs in the nation, which is open to eligible
