Tip of the month:  Use duct tape instead of rubber rim strip to line the inside of your rim. The duct tape will keep dirt and water from getting into the inside of your rim.

Pro Motocross/Supercross races
June 9-10 2007    Southwick MA, Motocross 338 AMA outdoor MX series round 3
Typical conditions:    Sand track that develops the roughest conditions on the circuit. There was a change in the circuit this year. It is a switchback section that added a few seconds to lap times.

Typical conditions:    Clay base with sawdust mixed in. Track develops deep ruts in the sawdust areas. There are great elevation changes at this track.

Typical conditions:    Amateurs will get to race the National track prior to the National, instead of racing on the night track. They have added sand to the dirt the past few years. There is one sandy section of whoops.

2006 Mammoth Mountain Motocross

Typical conditions:    Loamy terrain with hard pack and rock underneath. Check the air pressure before each race. There are many flats at this event every year.

Typical conditions:     Loam early in the day, very rough later on and can get straight edge (watch for flats and bump up pressure for Main events).
